Update: Oak Knoll Trail Dig Day Moved to February 4
Mount Diablo Trails Alliance is proud to share the UPDATED California State Parks schedule of Dig Days at Mount Diablo State Park.
Due to soil conditions and rainy season, the Oak Knoll Trail Dig Day has been moved up to Sunday, February 4th, and the Lower Summit Trail Dig Day has been moved to Sunday, March 24th.

Join us as we build a sustainable shared stewardship model with California State Parks. On Dig Days, Mount Diablo Trails Alliance partners with Mount Diablo State Park to recruit volunteers from the community to help enhance the park experience for all users by conducting trail maintenance that promotes Safety, Preservation and Equitable Access.
Safety: Learn how to repair and maintain trails for safe passage using proven techniques in accordance with the California Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) Trails Handbook and the 2016 RTMP for Mount Diablo State Park.
Preservation: Contribute to the preservation of ecological and cultural resources by performing trail work that stands up to increased trail usage and the forces of nature.
Equitable access: Help California State Parks achieve their long-term goal of providing equitable trails access at Mount Diablo State Park.
