It is important to get it setup for the next generation … we’re just grateful for the opportunity.
To give back … make trails safer … encourage people to spend time in the outdoors not staring at screens.
Love the outdoors. I am a mountain biker … want to make sure no one gets hurt … when riding or hiking.
Give back to the trails ... make them more fun and more accessible for everybody … is something I believe in.
Mount Diablo has been a really special place for a long time for me and my family … it is nice to give back.
Lucky to live where we live … a lot of trails can’t be explored on a bike … want kids to be able to appreciate the trails.
Make these trails better for everyone. Got to make new friends. Spent a lot of time on this mountain, so don’t mind giving back.
Here for the community. Love learning about the park and the other volunteers. Opportunity to give back. We use the park often. Make the State Park a nice place for everyone.
I am here to give back. Want to make sure everyone can enjoy them no matter the user group.
It takes maintenance … and dedication to keep trails accessible for everyone. Great to be out here with so many volunteers. We all use these trails. It is about Community and Connection.
Love to take care of the park. Taking the responsibility for the park you hike, bike, or ride your horse in is huge. This is everyone’s park.
Been coming to this park for 25 years … Found out that most trail work is done by Volunteers … Decided to be part of the solution. That’s WHY I am here.
Trail advocacy is really important. It really is a cooperative relationship with park agencies and trail users. It is a special gift to be a part of this event … one of my favorite trails.
It is a space that matters to me. When you spend a lot of time in areas as pretty as this … Start to get a sense of responsibility. That’s WHY.
I am here because … this is a shining example of what a shared stewardship model looks like. We love and want to see this replicated elsewhere in the State.
